Our Contracting Team Has Been Busy!

We are pleased to announce that, over the last 3 months, our Contracting team has been successful in winning orders for water treatment services on the following London projects.

Sales Manager Colin Webb said, “Our sales team has worked extremely hard to win these projects and our operations team are currently on site carrying out the works, and are also busy scheduling further works for later in the year”.

Spirit of Stratford, 150 High Street, London E15

This mixed development by the Genesis Housing Group is a landmark regeneration project located on the approach to the 2012 Olympic Games.

The redevelopment will incorporate 7 blocks of between 7 and 43 storeys tall, incorporating commercial and residential space, community services, a PCT surgery as well as a 144 room hotel. The project is expected to be complete towards the end of 2012.

We will be providing water treatment services for the pre-commission chemical cleaning of the mechanical services HVAC pipework installation. Due to programme constraints, the works will be undertaken in segments using temporary pumping facilities supplied by us.

Highbury Gardens Development, Holloway Road, London N7

This prestigious £30million development will blend traditional architecture with contemporary design, reviving the traditional London mansion block concept.

The site will consist of 119 homes, 39 of which are to be affordable rent housing, as well as providing retail and commercial space at ground level. The accommodation will be oriented around a new landscaped courtyard.

The project is scheduled for completion by the summer of 2011.

The development is to be served by a large LTHW system that predominately serves heat interface units within each apartment. Five 5,000L thermal storage vessels will be located in the main plant room to ensure that the demand for heat will be met.

We will be providing water treatment services for the pre-commission chemical cleaning of the mechanical services HVAC pipework installation, as well as disinfection of the domestic water services installation.

123 & 151 Buckingham Palace Road, London SW1

This development for Greycoat PLC has been designed by Arup Associates and comprises both 123 and 151 Buckingham Palace Road as two mirror image buildings, separated by a glass-covered area known as Fountain Square.

We will be providing water treatment services for the pre-commission chemical cleaning of the LTHW and Chilled water pipework distribution systems in accordance with BSRIA AG 2001.1

199 – 205 Richmond Road
, London E8

This redevelopment will incorporate a mix of apartments, townhouses and community facilities, as well as providing landscaped communal and private amenity space and gardens. The front of the building is listed and has therefore been retained; the development is scheduled for completion towards the end of 2011.

We will be undertaking pre commission chemical cleaning of the large LTHW system, which is fed from two plant rooms.

Due to programme constraints the system will be broken down into sections, all requiring the use of temporary pumping equipment, which we will be supplying.
