RAF Brize Norton is the largest station in the Royal Air Force with approximately 5,800 Service Personnel, 1,200 contractors and 300 Civilian staff members. The Station is home to the RAF's Strategic and Tactical Air Transport (AT) and Air-to-Air Refuelling (AAR) forces, as well as host to many lodger and reserve units.

With its mixed fleet of aircraft, RAF Brize Norton provides rapid global mobility in support of UK overseas operations and exercises, as well as AAR support for fast jet aircraft both on operations and in support of UK Homeland Defence.

We have recently completed an extensive programme of ACOP L8 risk assessment surveys and subsequent provision of completed risk assessment documentation on a total of 127 buildings at RAF Brize Norton.

Working in conjunction with the MOD and DCRE, Goodwater undertook this risk assessment survey task over a 6 week period and the buildings surveyed ranged in size and complexity, including storerooms, operational hangars and accommodation blocks.

Upon completion of the project both hard and soft copies of documentation, along with CAD schematics, were handed over the client.
