Goodwater has enjoyed two productive days at Healthcare Estates 2026, connecting with healthcare professionals, facilities teams and industry experts to discuss water hygiene, infection control and effective water treatment across healthcare environments.
The event provided an excellent opportunity to share experience, exchange ideas and discuss the challenges of managing safe building water systems. Thank you to everyone who visited our stand and to all those who attended our presentations. We appreciated the many insightful conversations throughout the event.

Sharing Sanikill Monochloramine Data
A highlight of the first day was a presentation by Goodwater’s Harijeet Singh and Vik Bamra at the Water & Infection Control Theatre.
They shared data from Sanikill monochloramine dosing systems installed across various healthcare estates, highlighting Goodwater’s experience in applying specialist water treatment solutions in complex healthcare environments.
Hospitals face particular challenges when managing water hygiene. Complex plumbing systems, areas of infrequent water use and the need to maintain effective infection control measures all make appropriate water management essential.
Monochloramine treatment can form part of a wider strategy to control bacterial growth in building water systems. The right approach depends on the individual estate, its water systems and the risks identified through suitable assessment.
Goodwater supports organisations with Legionella risk assessments, water sampling, monitoring programmes, remedial works and specialist water treatment solutions.

A Consistent Disinfection Strategy for Hospital Estates
On the second day, Harijeet Singh presented at the Engineering for Resilience Theatre, focusing on using a single disinfection strategy across new and existing hospital estates.
The presentation explored an important consideration for healthcare organisations managing buildings of different ages, designs and infrastructure requirements. Developing a consistent approach can help estates teams plan water treatment across their wider portfolio, while ensuring individual systems receive the assessment and management they require.
With healthcare estates continually evolving, effective water hygiene strategies need to consider both existing infrastructure and the demands of new developments.
