Goodwater HQ has had a complete make-over!
At the start of 2021 we decided to embark on the largest and most ambitious part of our business transformation initiative - to completely refurbish our home, the Goodwater HQ, from top to bottom, inside and out, ready for when the world starts to return to normal and our staff come back to the office.
Whilst the timing may seem unusal, with the world in the midst of a pandemic, it made sense for us to take the plunge while the majority of our staff were working from home, so we joined forces with Bushcrafted Ltd, a fantastic interior design and fit out company who are literally a stone's throw away from us on the Hogwood Lane Industrial Estate.
The first phase of the project commenced in February, lasting 3 months. It involved the demolition of the ground floor offices, kitchens and toilet areas, and the creation of superb agile communal spaces for our staff to enjoy comprising:
Kitchen area with informal seating and collaborative social spaces.
Dedicated Training Academy Room with Solstice TV system.
New toilet areas with shower facility.
Large Board Room with Solstice TV system.
Improved air conditioning, lighting and water services throughout.
Phase 2 kicked off in May and was completed at the end of June, and the result was a completely transformed 1st floor office area, now a beautiful, bright and fresh environment with hot desks, private offices, casual meeting spaces, refreshment area and new phone system, all finished off with our familiar branding on the glasswork. The warehouse spaces were also completely renovated and the building exterior was re-decorated and given a whole new lease of life.
The final piece of the jigsaw was the main entrance lobby with a fabulous and very eye-catching new logo graphic to welcome all our visitors and staff.
We invited our team in on Friday 2nd July to see the finished job and to become re-acquanted with their colleagues again for the first time in many months, and we are delighted to say that everyone was hugely impressed, re-energised and keen to come back in to work.
